To ensure overall health and well-being we need good oral Health.  Poor oral health leads to millions days of bed disability, restricted activity, and workdays lost each year and overall poor quality and standard of life. There has been a significant improvement in health for the past few years round the world, but this is not distributed equally across the population. There is gross unmatching of the population and oral health professionals serving them. Rural areas are very deficient when compared to major cities. Our dental outreach programt seeks to bridge this gap in Ebonyi State.

Community-based dental outreach programs play a very crucial role in declining discovery-delivery disconnect by introducing awareness through health education and dental adumbrating services to the community members.

Diagnostic Service may include:

• Reviewing and updating medical history, including cardio-pulmonary heart problems,  cancer treatment, renal problems, diabetes, pregnancy, orthopaedic joint replacement, medications, surgeries or any other major issues in Medical  history

• Blood pressure and blood sugar check

• Oral cancer examination and screening

• Evaluation of gum tissue

• Checking biting, chewing and swallowing patterns

• X-rays, examination of teeth to detect decay
